Wellcome to our new U N I T Y DKP site,

The things you need to know about how we are using the DKP.

1- DKP has been in effect in U N I T Y since Sunday the 13th of April, that is for the people that do not read in the game mail I spam and are unaware of what is going on *sigh*.

2- We do give DKP points for attendance, but there is no deduction on Items in Karazhan. With the exception of T4, these will be the only Items deducted from your points.

3- You will notice that all attendance of the raids (such as Gruul or Mag and up) have a value and you will receive points for attending.

4- The Items Gruul's and raids up from there are worth points so watch what you spend them on.

5- Our DKP is set at a fixed price of 15 points for T4 items, any other (Epic) loot is worth 10 points

6- Unrolled for Items will still cost you DKP points if you decide to take that item after all. Otherwise we will have people waiting until the last minute to bid, to receive a free item, which would be unfair to the rest of the players who have had to pay for their Item.

* Note: In the case that no one bids on a Item, and you have no DKP points left to spend and you want the Item, you can bid, be aware that It will set you at negative DKP points.

7- Multiple bids in the same raid is allowed if you have the DKP points to spend, once your points are spent however you can not continue biding on other Items that drop. It is also worth considering other players (out of courtesy) if you have already bided and won an Item.

8- It is up to the individual, to keep check on what they have spent or not in the raids they attend so they are aware of how much they have to spend.

9- DKP points for attendance and bidded items, are added and deducted after the raid.

10- We have started all main raiding characters with a 15 point starting bonus, this will be added and reduced over time as you purchase Items. Alt's however have zero starting points, with the option though that if that class is in demand for a raid and you are forced to attend you will have the choice to add the points from that raid to either your main or the Alt that attended the raid.

Please, If you haven't registered at the site already, go and do so.
*I you have registered I hear there is a bug in the activation link from the default email that was sent to you, (even though that seems to be sorted out now) don't despair your membership will have registered anyway.

We work a simple DKP system,

* Loot that is class or role specific has a base cost of 10 DKP plus Tier modifier.
* Loot that is usable by multiple classes or roles has a base cost of 15 DKP plus Tier modifier.
* Tier token loot has a base cost of 15 DKP plus Tier modifier.
* T4 instance items have a 0 DKP modifier so DKP cost = 10/15/15 (class/multi/tier token)
* T5 instance items have a 5 DKP modifier so DKP cost = 15/20/20 (class/multi/tier token)
* T6 instance items have a 10 DKP modifier so DKP cost = 20/25/25 (class/multi/tier token)

We have adjusted the value of the random item drops (class specific) in Magtheridon's and Gruul's Lair.
They will no longer be 20.00 points but 10.00....Everyone who had to pay 20 points in the listed raids we did have had there DKP points adjusted accordingly.
This does not include the T4 tokens they are still worth 15.00 points.

After a bit of a debate last night (17-04-08) in the Officers Meeting, we decided to reward the Karazhan runs with a 3 point DKP value for attendance.

This was decided in light that you have to pay for T4 items in Karazhan, and for new raiders to accumulate some points.

This will be set in place for the Karazhan runs from the 16th of April 2008 and onwards.
